Welcome to the Spring Concert with Volda Dementia Choir – featuring a great band and exciting guests!

On May 11th, we aim to fill the main hall of the Volda student house, Rokken, with beautiful choral singing and a great atmosphere. The repertoire ranges from children’s songs and classic Norwegian tunes to popular music from the 1950s and onwards, so there should be something for every taste.

This year, just like last year, we’ll be joined by the two children's choirs from Volda and Ørsta School of Choir, who will perform both from their own repertoire and together with the Dementia Choir on a few songs. Together, we’ll welcome spring and summer, and spread a message of hope and love, the joy of music, and belief in life.

A musical surprise also awaits this afternoon!

Rokken will be offering coffee/cake and beverages for sale.

Doors open at 15.00, and the concert starts at 16.00 PM.
